Some of the organizations we support:
Camp Reel Stories
When women and girls are better represented behind the scenes in the media, they will be better reflected on the screen. Camp Reel Stories empowers girls to create media and to view current media critically and thoughtfully. Camp Reel Stories provides education, hands-on filmmaking, exposure to various media careers, and mentorship in order to increase women’s presence and participation in professional media industries.
Just Like My Child
Just Like My Child Foundation's Girl Power Project is a transformational program targeting girls in central Uganda as they enter the most vulnerable juncture of their lives: adolescence. This project steps in just as girls face the choices that will lead them to a life of early marriage, pregnancy, and disease OR a life of education, economic independence, and delayed marriage.
Farm Sanctuary was founded in 1986 to combat the abuses of factory farming and encourage a new awareness and understanding about farm animals. Today, Farm Sanctuary is the nation’s largest and most effective farm animal rescue and protection organization. They have rescued thousands of animals and cared for them at their sanctuaries in Watkins Glen, NY; Northern California (Orland); and the Los Angeles area. At Farm Sanctuary, these animals are friends, not food. They educate millions of people about their plight and the effects that factory farming has on our health and environment. They advocate for laws and policies to prevent suffering and promote compassion, and they reach out to legislators and businesses to bring about institutional reforms.
